Re: [Therapeutic-Laser_Therapy] What are you using and what's new?

Hi Jesse!

Sorry the replies have been slow.  I've been out a lot with kids getting out of school. Sorry!

Personally, I own a LazrPulsr, which is a preprogrammed laser with many different programs, 4 diodes, and can be custom programmed with your own specified frequencies if needed.  This has been very helpful.  The beauty of this laser is that each diode can be independently programmed, so one can run 4 frequencies at one time, if desired.  Also, the Brain programs are very unique with this laser, possibly other lasers run frequencies the same ( I don't know as these are proprietary programs), but the manner they are used with the Cranial Nerve Reassociation programs, are unique.

We had great results with this laser with many different types of pathogens, pain, and lately, a friend with surgery complications.  Using the Open Wound program #1-4, the Surgery program and the Healing programs initiated immediate resolution of the problems the lady was experiencing.  She was amazed at how fast it worked.  Not only that, but while the laser was working, she kept telling me that she could feel it working, pulling, tugging, and generally working on healing the inside muscle/tissue.

This laser does have a Low Back setting, which we've had good success with for painful low back problems.

Hope this is helpful.

Just trying to get an idea of what lasers everyone is using and what
you have heard about advances in the field.  New lasers are hitting
the market all the time now and at some time we will all want to
upgrade or acquire additional equipment.  What is the new winner on
the market from what you have heard.

I have used mostly the Meditech Bioflex system from Canada.  I also
use an AMD Excalibur 4 diode 5mW laser.  I treated patients with the
Chatanooga Vectra Genisys system for about 3 weeks.  I have had the
best results with the Meditech so far for chronic pain, especially low
back.
