Hi Barbara,

	 Hope you are doing well. Is there anything to help to unclog the parotid
duct and gland? A sialogram ( catheter placed in the gland and dye
injected for Xray ) has revealed several strictures in the duct as well
as the gland. There is no need to rush. there was a blockage that caused
it to swell, but it broke loose during the sialogram and came out an hour
later. There is no swelling or pain at this time.

Overcoming Depression

Here we are, the holidays are over, the winter months are here and
we want to feel good.  There is so much life to live, but maybe you
or someone you know struggles with depression.

Everyday millions of Americans struggle with the daily pressures of
life.  Those close to you may not realize you are suffering because
you do not show what you are feeling.  Feelings of depression can
range from sadness, loneliness, mood swings, anxiety, anger, lack of

With the holiday schedule, we are busy with the last minute
preparations. We tend to forget what our body needs to stay healthy,
during this time of year.
Here are some health tips to help you feel and look your best

                       Stress-Free Holidays

What a wonderful time of year!  This month is filled with
preparation and anticipation! There are Christmas parties and plays,
shopping, gift wrapping, decorating, baking and guests.

The extra activities along with our regular work schedule can
deprive our body of the rest it needs.  Time and money pressures
create stress.

Stress uses nutrients that are needed to nourish the nervous system.

The holidays are here!  We begin thinking about holiday meals and

With all the delicious foods to choose from, we tend to overeat.

Hi! I'm AuntyB, and I've been a diabetic for about 12 years now. So
far I'm only on pills, but my diabetes has been really bad for
several months now, and it looks like I might be on shots within a
couple of weeks. My Doc is messing around with my pills to see if a
higher dosage would help me, but if it doesn't, he's putting me on
the shots within the next two weeks. What I'd like to know is, are
there any herbs that would help with my blood sugars? Any kind of
plant leaves I can make into a tea to drink? I do grow a lot of herbs
and different plants, so I'm willing to experiment. I really dread
the thought of having to give myself shots, so any ideas would be
extremely appreciated! Thanks a lot! AuntyB
