I'm hoping one of you may be able to help me. I found an excellent
interpretation of the word *can't* on here a while ago and meant to
save it. However I can't seem to find the message that it was
contained in. Maybe my antennae aren't tuned in.

The context was that, when a person says that they can't do
something, what they in fact are saying, is that they don't choose to
experience the emotions that go with that activity. The version in
the post was more elegant than mine and I'd like to find it
again. Or maybe the list can come up with a much better rephrase.
