Hi Donna
For many people when they first start working on themselves, thinking of
having a relationship with Jesus, God or thinking of anything religious will
usually be too daunting for them.
However, with or without a relationship with God, you can achieve the same
end result with EFT. My experience is that EFT helped to heal all of my
negative thinking about religion, God etc without me even addressing those
issues. Four years ago I knew I was a Christian and believed in God, but
that was as far as it went: I never prayed, I had no desire to be closer to
God etc. EFT and a few other healing modalities changed that and now I have
a very close relationship with God. I am in awe at how much I have changed
in such a short time.
My brother, on the other hand, has always been religious. Recently, he began
to develop a very close relationship with Jesus, chatting with Him daily,
and hešs also undertaking some training in healing in the name of Jesus. The
procedure hešs using is actually very similar to many processes Išve learned
in Energy Therapy (especially TAT from Tapas Fleming), but he focuses on
healing through prayer and talking directly to God. I was quite surprised
when I discovered how similar what I do with my clients is to what he does
with his, given that I never mention God unless the client mentions Him
first, while my brother does everything through prayer.
So, if you have a religious background, then by all means use that to
enhance your healing. If you donšt, donšt worry, you wonšt miss out! Use
EFT, TAT, Immunics, ZPoint, whatever resonates with you best at the time.
God still does the healing, just with some methods you donšt know it. ;-)
In love
Jocie
