Welcome! We are glad you found us. This is an amazing group of Moms and Dads, all here for the same reason -- to protect and guide our children through life with food allergies.

We encourage you to jump in immediately with your questions. None are too simplistic or too complex. You will find that when you ask a question here, one of us will have an answer for you or we will help you find it. We all have our strengths in different areas of the FA world. That is truly a blessing for all!

You should be forewarned that the volume of posts generated by this group is phenomenal. We talk A LOT here on a day to day basis, and you may feel overwhelmed by the inundation of emails. Do not be discouraged by the number of posts. You might want to consider using a Gmail account or setting your membership to Daily Digest to help you keep up with the posts.

We ask that those who are trying to sell some sort of cure for eczema, allergies, ect. please refrain from joining this list. Although your product may work, TKWFA is intended to be a place for parents of children with food allergies to chat. Advertisements should be saved for other venues. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

If you are concerned for your child’s medical or nutritional status, please consult with a member of the medical team that you have chosen for them. While posting to TKWFA is a valid place to start to help you prepare, no one is more qualified to provide treatment suggestions than the medical professionals that have taken full medical histories and physically examined your child.
