This group has been established specifically for tracking the current location of USFS, BLM, CDF and MAFFS firefighting, Bureau of Indian Affairs and state contract Airtankers and outside the US and the fires to which they are assigned during fire season. Also allowed for posting is information on support aircraft such as Air Attack, Lead Plane, Fire Mapping and Type 1 Helicopters. Some of the data passed on this list is Tanker or Aircraft number, which base the Tanker or Aircraft is currently located and/or working out of, name of fire the Tanker or Aircraft is assigned to, and location of fire. Also needed is information on any Tanker or Aircraft known to be in ferry to a new location and it's final destination.
