Had an interesting experience with Silica Disks and homoeopathic
remedies while I was away.

Half of my remedies got zapped on the way into Cuba in the xray
machine. The security chap was gutted as he immediately knew what I was
talking about (complementary therapies are quite well known there due
to the lack of drug availability) and put them in a separate tray but a
colleague of his just put them on the conveyor belt into the machine, I
only noticed at the last moment and could only grab one bag of them so
some went through. much shouting at subordinate ensued along with
profuse apologies and hopes that my stay in Cuba would not be spoiled
because of this unfortunate mistake.

i was a bit upset and in the taxi on the way to the hotel decided to
reiki them and see if i could retrieve the situation but felt it wasn't
doing much good. Then when I got to the hotel I had the idea of putting
them all on a Silica Disk (I never travel without one and always fix
one to the seat in front of me on the plane which deals effectively
with all the nasties of 'space travel').

It was quite extraordinary, as soon as I put them on I could almost see
them repatterning themselves and by the morning, on testing them, they
were all back to their full strength.

Another one of those interesting discoveries borne out of a near
disaster.
