WELCOME! This Tucson-based group was created to provide information, support, and positive encouragement to individuals in Southern Arizona considering or having Weight Loss Surgery (WLS) so they may make the life decision best suited for them. Topics of discussion/information include insurance coverage, exercise, nutrition, pre-op and post-op updates. This is a close-knit group with multiple monthly meetings and pot luck/clothing exchange. All are welcome regardless of surgeon or stage in the process even if surgery is not your choice.

Helpful pre and post-op information exists by clicking our Files, Links and Database areas. After joining please edit your profile (click Edit my Membership in the upper right hand corner area). All posts should include your first name and if known your surgeon and surgery date. Please be specific when posting info about other groups.

Meeting dues are $5 per month payable in 6 month groups or a full year is $50. -- NorthWest meeting 7-8:30 PM each 3rd Monday of the month at Grace Community Church 9755 N La Cholla Blvd. New attendees in Welcome Room at 6:30 PM.
-- Eastside meeting 7-8:30 PM on the first Tuesday of each month at Evangelical Covenant Church, 551 N Camino Seco, between Broadway and Speedway, on the West side of the street. New attendees will meet at 6:30.
-- Pot Lucks/Clothing Exchanges: See calendar for dates and locations. Bring small dish of high protein and/or sugar-free dish
