Description

TLCTrichSupport is a listserve set up and moderated by the Trichotillomania Learning Center (www.trich.org). Adults struggling with trichotillomania (compulsive hair pulling) are welcome. For Teens and Parents, please visit TLC's website to join the appropriate list. This is a safe and non-judgmental place to share ideas, strategies, difficulties and successes. We encourage you to ask questions and share insights. Trichotillomania is, for most, a disorder of isolation. Recovery is strongly supported by building bridges of communication, both to ourselves and to others. That's what this listserve is all about. Members of this list are at all levels of experience: some just starting in pulling behavior, others suffering for years, some with years of recovery, and some just beginning the process. Remember the goal is Support, so be gentle with yourself and others. Please note: solicitation, flaming or inappropriate language is immediate grounds for removal from the list, as is anything that is inflammatory or hurtful in any way. Thank you for honoring these principles! Welcome.
