Survivors, Inc. Volunteer Training

 

Survivors, Inc. is proud to offer the Fall Session of Volunteer Training, generously hosted by the Center for Public Service.  The only thing missing is YOU!

 

Survivors, Inc. will be providing training and skills building opportunities required by the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence and the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape, full completion of this training and its requirements will provide you the opportunity to provide in-kind and essential sexual assault and domestic violence services.   Volunteers are the foundation of our organization!

 

Date and Time:  Each Saturday- September 8, 2007 to October 27, 2007 from 8:30am to 4:30pm. (Eight Saturdays for a total of 64 hours)

 

Location:  To be announced- Gettysburg College

 

Cost:  Other than your time and investment … FREE!!!!

 

Other Info:  Participants will need to submit and pass a background check before the conclusion of the class, and there is also a 10 hour supervised practicum requirement to earn the Counselor/Advocate Certification.
