The Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence
implements a demonstration program with advocates who support non-abusing
parents and children exposed to domestic violence through a multi-pronged
approach with home visits and community-based services. Opportunities
and challenges of doing dual advocacy with mothers and children outside of
the shelter setting are discussed.
