The message
we need from each of you is your own version of the statement below (it's OK to

I
understand that Senator Specter is part of the negotiations to cut the
VOCA and VAWA funding by half. These additional funds are important and
consistent with the purpose of the stimulus bill. They provide the money needed
to protect and restore jobs in victim advocacy agencies, crime victim
compensation benefits for loss of wages/support needed for day-to-day living
expenses, and many other direct services to crime victims.
