Subject: Voting Rights

Wanted to pass this information along to you about your right to vote.

Here are just a couple of important things to keep in mind:

1.       You have the right to vote even if you have unpaid bills, parking tickets, overdue taxes, or a home at risk of foreclosure.

2.       Despite rumors to the contrary, you can wear Candidate specific shirts and pins to the polls -- but be prepared to cover them up, if asked.

3.       College students can vote in Pennsylvania without losing residency in another state.

4.       Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Don't leave without voting. If you're in line before the polls close at 8:00 p.m., you have the right to vote.
