Ron, I just got to thinking how I have a passionate dislike for eyeglasses for all the same reasons you listed against orthotics. I am now 56 years old, was told I needed glasses 10 years ago and staunchly refused. I've studied with Gloria Ginn and Meir Schneider and do my eye exercises regularly. My opinion is that we are in a cultural trance over these glasses or eye crutches as I see them. I am begining to recognize that aging is something I cannot rally against also as my arms are slowly getting too short to read some small print. You can imagine how many people want to hear me tell them to throw away their glasses...I get my vote cancelled really quick...so, once again all I have is my personal experience. And I do know a few things about vision that most people do not.....not only from the nervous system and physiology of the eye but of the postural implications as you know about. And some folks benefit from glasses and some from orthotics in my practice......Jim
