Excellent news for the community.

Fellow community members.

This piece news is worth noticing. The Rolfing Category of the Open
Directory Project (ODP) finally has a dedicated editor.
After interacting with the editor, I must tell you that the category
seems to be in excellent hands.

The previous editor was in charge of several bodywork modalities, and
as a result the Rolfing category was poorly managed. Considering that
the ODP has become in 2-3 years THE MOST IMPORTANT INDEX ON THE
INTERNET, and considering its goals (editors are volunteers working
for consumers), this is good news for the community.

If you have a web site or know of a good SI related web site, my
advice is to make sure it is listed there. If it is not, then you can
submit it to the appropriate category (follow the submission rules
please).

If you don't have a web site, but is thinking about it, please note
that it is now a good time to have one, because your promotion on the
web will be made a lot easier thanks to the new editor of the Rolfing
category of the ODP.

Some important changes in the ODP cannot happen overnight, and for
instance chances are that the Hellerwork category will remain outside
of the Rolfing Category for a while, and not under this editor's
control. But at least now I am confident that the category is in good
hands, and that even the most important changes should eventually
happen.

An important change already implemented is the creation of a sub-
directory for practitioners specifically, and the addition of many
links as well.

I am personally enthuzed for the coimmunity about this change in the
ODP, and I am confident that the new editor should help the community
be better represented on the Internet.
