Re: [Structure_Integrator] Re: Is this forum dead?

Tom and all,
Going beyond a specific channel into bringing Dr. Rolf's vision and uniqe
insite to the "public's" awarness seems to me as a wearthy cause. I feel
that the wonder of her work needs to be known. As many people as possible
all around the world need to know about it and be given the possibility of
making an informed decision about benefiting from it.
I was lucky to find out about it and enjoy the change and magic it braught
into my life. Should'nt others be?
We in Israel, being but 14 pracitioners, try to do more and more in this
respect and increase the awarness of the work here. We find that by working
together we have a greater ability to do it and in both the short and the
long run we all benefit from it.
I, for one, would love to see the same unity and team work function on a
much larger scale with one and only focus: Her work

Reda - my own small experience is that this profession is experiencing a
resurgence of business right now, as if everyone has suddenly started
breathing again after a collectively held breath through the autumn. My
classes are fuller, people gave started ordering books and whatnot after a
hiatus, practitioners are talking about being busier. Anyone else out there
felt this change on energy?

While these varias email fora are great, I am interested in seeing the next
level of participatory openness happen: ISIA (or some such acronym): The
International Structural Integration Association - which would bring
together graduates of the various schools who wanted to go beyond the
confines of the individual schools and embrace the larger profession. Such
an organization would have an interesting voice, and would help us move out
and up in the woild. Thde individual small schools all have their unique
flavors, but their have their blind spots and insularities too, such that we
are being left behind in the manipulatibe profession as others take up (or
discover for themselves) Ida's ideas one by one. It's too bad, but I don't
see any moves within any one school to take the lead, so that practitioners
with a more inclusive, populist, urbane, polycentric, and outward-looking
viewpoint have the opportunity to create a vision and lift the banner.

Anyone on for it?
