Greetings,

If you have heard of the IASI, then please help us thank Marilyn Beech.
For the last 7 years, from an idea, to itŐs present incarnation as the
professional
membership organization for Structural Integrators worldwide, Marilyn has been
at the
helm of the IASI. As one the initial organizers and first board members,
executive director,
president, SI yearbook editor, newsletter organizer, symposium organizer, and
much
more, Marilyn has devoted countless hours, and a huge amount of energy allowing
us to
get to where we are. Today the heirs of Dr. Rolf, SI professionals the world
over, are
together, under one umbrella; part of a networking community that can grow,
argue,
evolve, and learn from each other, thus, allowing this profession to stay
strong. We can be
extremely proud of the Certification Exam for SI, which is a major milestone in
SI getting
the attention of other professions, government agencies, and the general public.
ŇThe lost
tribesÓ, are mature, self-organizing, and responsible for the state of our
profession and
the practitioners.

The significance of MarilynŐs involvement and actions cannot be measured. As she
prepares to step aside as President of the IASI, it is our honor to thank her
for all that she
has done. The most meaningful gift we could think of was a personal thank you
from all
the members of our profession of Structural Integration that Marilyn has done so
much
for. This is a surprise, so we cannot let Marilyn find out. If you would send an

surprise Marilyn at the SI Faculty meeting, Aug 29 with the notes.. This is a
surprise, and
we will need your help to make it happen. Please send a note today to

let Marilyn know that the we acknowledge and appreciate all that she has done.
