Hello Carol
I have some experience with this condition. My mother has it and was
diagnosed 50 yrs ago. She also has a scoliosis. I work with her weekly and
she has seen vast improvement. In the beginning I did not think we would see
to much change in her structure as her lower vertebrae and some thoracic are
fused. She has changed immensely and has a lot less pain as a result.
I have also worked with another person who is in his late twenties. He found
the work to give him a lot more movement. Doctors actually recommend to stay
as active as possible to keep the mobility in the spine.
If you would like to talk further you can email me personally at
