Hi all-
Just wanted to give everyone a "heads up" about a recent cougar attack
on a solo hiker in Foothills Park in Palo Alto (closed now, until they
find the cougar or learn more). Cougars typically avoid groups, so
there's more reason to hike with others, making StrollerHikes a nice
resource.

Luckily this week's events are quite far from the attack region and
several are in cougar-free zones. If you have any questions or
concerns, please let us know.

The victim of the attack is shaken but otherwise fine, but if you'd
