Hello Mommies and Daddies!
It is starting to really warm up out there, and our strawberry plants
have their first red fruit of the season. Summer has arrived early!
Here are this week's events:
Monday, April 28th at 9:30 am let's hike at Stevens Creek Trail. The
hike will begin from Creekside Park in Mountain View. Diana and
little Taeva Rose will lead the hike. For more information, see
Stevens Creek Trail Page
(http://www.strollerhikes.com/Hikes/StevensCreekTrail/StevensCreekTrail.html).
Feel welcome to linger at the park before and after the hike
for some play and socialization!
Wednesday, April 30th at 11:30 am at Huddart Park. Meet in the first
main parking lot off of King's Mountain Road, just past the park
entrance, and bring some cash to pay for parking. Baby carriers or
backpacks are best for this hike. Kristen and little Lillian will
lead this hike. Kristen's cell # is 408-410-7200 if you're running
late. For more information or directions, see Huddart Page
(http://www.strollerhikes.com/Hikes/Huddart/Huddart.html).
Thursday, May 1st at 4 pm we'll hike John Christian Greenbelt to
Misson College / mall for a 1-hour hike. Meet at Blazingwood Drive
entrance (near Sandia Avenue). The entire path is paved, so all types
of baby transport will work. Dogs are allowed! There are parks and
play structures along the path. Debbie and little Max will lead this
hike. For more information or directions, see Greenbelt Page
(http://www.strollerhikes.com/Hikes/GreenbeltSunnyvale/GreenbeltSunnyvale.html).
If time is on our side, we may stroll the mall for a Jamba
Juice. Debbie's cell # is 650-776-1082 if you're running late.
Friday, May 2nd at 1:30 pm we'll hike at Emily Renzel Wetlands from
the North end of Shoreline Park towards Byxbee Park. Meet at the
parking area at the end of San Antonio Road (go towards the Bay from
101). For more information or directions, see the Emily Renzel
Wetlands and Byxbee Park Page
(http://www.strollerhikes.com/Hikes/Byxbee/Byxbee.html). Much of the
trail is paved, but it becomes gravel fire/access road as it nears
Byxbee Park; large-wheeled strollers or carriers are best. Dogs are
welcome. Sharisse and little Chase will lead this hike.
Enjoy the weather!
