Welcome! This group is for Stroke Survivors and for those Caregivers who help the Survivor.

Our mission is to provide compassionate emotional support, information concerning a variety of issues such as VA, Nursing Homes, Medical Equipment and Home Health Care and we offer tips and shortcuts to make our daily tasks a bit easier. All this is done in a kind and respectful manner. For the most part, we are not medical professionals, but we all live or have lived the life of stroke. Between us all, our experiences are many and we can learn from each other.

We invite all questions, no subject if off limits. We urge all members to participate. You will be answered with care and understanding. You will not be judged in any way.

We offer a soft place to fall during the times you need assurance that there will be better days ahead. This is were you can share your frustrations and vent. We have all been there!

This group is a peaceful, compassionate and kind group. We will not allow any flaming or confrontational aggressive behavior towards others. If a member behaves in such a manner, that member will be omitted from the group and not allowed to participate.
