The Texas Stem Cell Research Association (a non-profit) is proposing our first telethon fundraiser to raise private funds for private stem cell research and therapies in the US.No government entities (NIH) or drug companies will be involved. US and international stem cell technologies have come together to do due diligence on various stem cell technologies for potential commercialization and therapies for people afflicted by many different diseases (ie., Juvenile diabetes, spinal cord injuries, Alzheimers, stroke, cancer etc.). Our advisory board is made up of local stem cell researchers and international researchersto determine what is good science and what is bad science. They will review and validate technologies for potential commercialization. Once a decision is made on a good technology, a new stem cell research and therapy company will be formed. Treatments will be monitored on a weekly and monthly basis. The TSCRA will fund all start-up companies through funds raised through the telethon. Stem cell researchers will provide yearly budgets, technologies and potential therapies to our advisory board for private funding. The TSCRA will create business plans, sources and uses of funds, cash flow projections and marketing teams to assist the stem cell new companies.
