I go stir crazy sometimes, but I'm going to try to resume some of the
needlework I have previously enjoyed, as well as dabble a bit with

Thanks for asking. Hope all is OK with you~

What type of needle work do you like doing? cross stitch? I've tried that
before... it'll make you go blind...lol

I've thought of taking a class in water colors sometime... (if I ever find
it offered near by...) no real talent here.. just thought it would be nice to
try... I took art in highschool... loved it... no real talent... just enjoyed
it.. ( i remember the guy in that class.. that sat at my table... definately
enjoyed him..LOL)

I bought a video tape ( at a yard sale..) ... painting flowers... wet on
wet technique.. oils... I've never done that... but they tell you what brushes
you need.. the colors... show step by step instructions as how to do it...
I'm starting to slowly buy some stuff...lol Michaels (craft shops) have a
real good coupon in the paper every Sunday... so I am collecting stuff and
some day... I'll give it a try...

You'll have to put up a pic of something you did in water colors!

I'm glad you are doing better... it can take a long time to heal up... It
will have been 4 yrs this July since i had that back surgery.. and I have
felt like this past winter was the first time I started to sort of "get back to
normal"...You just be careful... If I lived closer I'd stop by and visit...
bring you a big ol dish of my spaghetti for dinner.... oh well... I thought
it anyway... ;o)

Since I've not gone back to the dr... in quite a long time... I only have my
thought as to what was going on...
BUT it seemed for the first few mo.. I was doing better.. healing all the
time... then I developed a terrible pain.. near the incision area... sharp..
not deep like in the spine.. but more of a deeper tissue pain.. felt like
something was "ripping' to often and too easy.. gets to where you're afraid to
move...

anyway.. it went on for a long time... (MY THOUGHT... it may have been some
bad scar tissue that grew) ??
anyway.... this past winter it stopped.. and I have never felt that ripping
sensation again...
SI joints still ache some.. FMS.. all that is better for now too... I've
been able to cope and do more everysince about late Dec. ;o)
Prayer does work!!!
