Hi Kevin, I am fused anterior from C-6 to T-1 and then Posterior from C-4 to T-2. I crushed C1 & C-5. Shattered C-7. Fractured T1 & T-2. I was a complete for a couple weeks and respirator dependant. I was about 2 hours away from being traeched. Before my accident I played basketball and had actually made varsity the day of the accident.. I was coming out of my sophmore year in high school... I also raced my horse in endurance races.. I had been riding for 25 or 50 miles each race.  Now I cannot run or do any type of activities. I am able to walk but I have a limp because I didnt not get the complete use of my left leg back. I was in the hospital for 3 months and did physical therapy for over a year.. I am still supposed to be in PT but have not had the time and now I cannot drive because of the pain from the syrinxes. I get the results from my MRI today. this is my 5th MRI this year. I know everything there is to know about a syrinx.  But it seems like the doctors done care, they cant feel the pain I go thru everyday. There are days when I cant move or breath because the pain is too severe and intense. The doctors just say to take the meds.  Well... I also lost a kidney and my spleen... I cant be taking all the meds... If you wanted to see the website my mom made about the accident...

I use webferret to get info, if you need help I can try to send you sites.Condition is caused by trauma due to your accident.Its not enough to be paralyzed its the side issued that ruin our lives.
ID LIKE TO HERE MORE ABOUT YOU TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF AND WHAT YOU CAN AND CANNOT DO.I've been to a lot of top rehabs but find we can often teach each other things that the experts don't know. Kevin
