OK......Here we go...

            My name is Luis Torres, 22, T-5 paraplegic
complete (meaning I will not walk or just an
assumption!)...  My accident happened 2 years ago when
I was only 19... I am only replying to this because I
became furious when you said, "I am looking for
someone who suffered a spinal cord injury and who
will not walk again to work with me and one of the
mediums."

            That got me angry because I AM going to
walk because I AM.  My generation is the "Stem Cell
Generation".   I will walk it is only a matter of
time.  "Timing's everything, Patience a virtue".  It
is only a matter of time before I walk....  Only to
complete the cycle for my great testimony of the power
of my lord.... so honestly I don't even need stem
cells to walk only faith but it shall be stem cells so
be it.

             Here is my story in a short version...
My friend came up to New York on vacation from college
from Miami Florida.  He flew up but was driving back
down".  I decided to go back with him...  He fell
asleep behind the wheel in South Carolina.  I did not
buckle up because I wanted to sleep comfortable.  He
went off the road 200 feet and crashed into trees.  A
tree also fell on top of the car after we hit covering
it.  I broke 3 ribs, shoulder blades, scapula muscles,
and a huge cut on top of my head from hitting the
windshield, and both lungs collapsed... 

             A passer by saw stem in the distance so
they pulled over.  It happened to be an army medic
going home off of work.  A second car pulled over
because they saw the commotion.  It happened to be a
nurse going to work.  The cop happened to be coming
off a break.  The accident was around 12 noon.  It is
also a blessing that there was not a lot of traffic on
I-95 S on a Saturday morning causing a pile up or
worse.

             I spent 2 months in South Carolina hooked
up to every machine possible.  When my parents arrived
and spoke to doctors and motioned my paralysis my
parents replied, " So your saying he will never walk"
"If he leaves here only not walking he is one lucky
kid".  

            I have no brain injury.  Have my car.
Just got it 2 years later.  Do nothing but "real"
therapy.  Electro Stem stuff... The women love me. My
life is great.  I appreciate and patiently wait on my
lord to provide for me.  I just also have to be ready
for when it comes.  So I work hard now.

           I support and encourage new patients where
I do therapy.  The energy you put out comes back and
revolves.  I survived for a reason.  This is a short
version of the story.
