My doctor wants to take me off Oxycodone, which is fine as long as I have something else to help with the pain. He has prescribed methadone, which made me worry that he thinks that I am an addict. My husband called a friend who is a pharmacutical representative and asked about methadone. I can be used to manage pain and is still a narcotic which makes me wonder about how it is used to help people in rehab getting off other narcotics.
