Well that's a new one (heating pad burns) but if circulation is the problem, you might try using an aspirin cream in the area of treatment. Just prior to putting the heat to the area. Some way of opening up the veins to better blood flow. Even Icey-Hot might help there but oh the lovely scent. You'll smell like a softball player who is over 40 but trying to play with young guys in their 20's. (Like I did 10 years ago)
