Dear Jason:
I am also a para, seven years, but I certainly remember how hard it was at
first. The best advice I can give you right now is to try to focus on the
things you CAN do and don't dwell on the things you can't. Reaching out to
others with spinal cord injuries can also be very helpful. It's good to get
as much exercise as possible to stay strong and stretched. Also, drink
plenty of water to help with digestion and avoid urinary tract infections.
If you'd like to ask some specific questions I'll try my best to give you

Jason, One very important thing to watch out for are pressure sores from sitting. You must have pressure relief about every 20 minutes to keep circulation ...

I found the Roho low profile cushion was very reliable ... I've had mine for about 5 years.... only one puncture and was able to repair in no time... MJ...
