Hi christina! I have a strawberry meal bar for lunch and
breakfast..sometimes i have a banana with it but no toast? I just drink alot of
water and have a healthy dinner with maybe chicken and always a salad. I do
curves 5 days a week and i love it. It is nice to hang out with the ladies for
about 45 minutes in the morning and the excercise makes me feel so good mentally
and physically. but i never have toast? sometimes if i get hungry between meals
i will have the snack bar with protien ofcourse. I heard that a protien diet is
good to lose weight and it works for me..have a great day

Yes def. do the challenge! I used to dance competitively and ate what ever I
wanted. Now, although I work out about 3-4 days a week and still dance, Im not
nearly as active as I used to be so eating a bunch of junk food isnt what I need
to stay in shape. I started the Special K challenge about a month ago and it has
helped immensly! I
lost 5 pounds :) And ive continued to keep the weight off even though I havent
been as active as usual because of exams! So yes, this diet is def. something
that has proven helpful (and yummy)!

I have a couple of suggestions. First, crystal light, it comes in a variety of
flavors and small packs to pour into water bottles. Also, I enjoy Green Tea from
Arizona. Thats one of my favorites. Also, I brew lipton tea and add splenda
sugar and put it in a pitcher to make it a 10 calorie sweet tea! And ofcourse
those are alternatives to diet soda.

I have only tried the chocolate so far, but I think they are delicious, and
filling! Would deff. recommend them! I was looking forward to my shake everyday.

Hey, I'm 20 years old as well, and have the same problem as you. Eating poorly
during exams!! I lost 8 pounds already from special k. Try it! It's affordable
for girls like us in college and easy to follow. Just make sure you get some
fruit and veggies to snack on because the first week you might feel hungry.
Also, if you have no time to cook a healthy dinner try lean cousine, weight
watchers, or south beach for dinner. It's easy and healthy and mobile if your on
the go.  The only thing that will help with the flabbiness is working out, try
something small like just lifting small weight while watching tv or laying in
bed at night. I got a couple of work out videos like dance cardio and body burn
yoga. I hate working out, but these videos are only 20 minutes, I don't have to
leave the house, and they're actually fun! Anyway, good luck! It worked for me,
so if you stick to it there no reason why it wont work for you!

I wanted my hello to be different =D Well I'm Chrissie and im starting my diet
here with the specail k diet..I'm at 220, ive had 3 c-sections and they have
kicked my butt..I've never technically dieted before only excersized and ive
never been one to eat badly or overeat..i am not into sweets very much and i eat
less than the kids most times! lol! But my excersize deminished and along with
that my energy..so i am now doing this and forcing my butt up for real excersize
besides chasing the kids.cleaning my house, and trips to walmart.. lol..as they
are all in school now, i finally have some free time to focus on me ...I'm a 29
year old mama of 4 (2 are mine, Lizzie and Willie 9 and 6; 2 my fiances Dannie
and Stephie 10 and 8)and engaged to the most handsome man in the world and were
getting married on 10-10-10 and i want to be back to healthy and fit by then
*crossing my fingers* nice to meet you all :)

Good Morning special k'ers, its 7a.m where i  live and i just got done getting
ready for work. i go in at 7:30. and since my job is is only a 7 min drive, i
have time to get on her and great all you people. i just wanted to say that i
read so many topics in here that i have always related to and i admire every
single one of you! with my reaching over 30 pounds of weight loss now ,i look at
myself and think, i can do more.  Do you ever feel that way?? yesterday and the
gym i burned more calories in half an hour than i ever have before.Have you ever
pushed yourself just alittle more??? well all i wanted to do was start a topic
and let everyone know that you are all very strong minded people,and to the ones
that get frustrated and confused, i think you are the strongest,not only for
what you do, but because you come on here and ask for help, so you have more
courage than you think.so im gonna leave you now with hope you have a good

I would say just watch your intake.  Special K is suitable for anyone trying to
lose weight because you're just eating cereal.  And of course a healthy
dinner/lunch.  Especially if you won't have much time for vigorous exercise.

I have tried every diet...It's been hard for me since I was a kid...my dad is
very fit but my whole mom's side is obese..I weight like 165 to 172 and I was
only able to lose 30 lbs. on the vegan Atkins diet before kids...now that I have
a 5 yr old and 3 yr old boys it's been so hard for me...I am on the 1200
calories a day doing everything with special k cereals and salads w little
dressings and veggie burgers since I'm vegan we usually crave Carbs but I
haven't eaten anything bad in a really long time.....Im also doing cardio at the
gym for 35 to 40 min and weights for 45 and sauna for 15 min......

I started on Special K diet the end of January and have lost 18 lbs.  About
a month ago I went off of it and tried a different diet and just went back
on Special K a couple of weeks ago.

Tea and especially green tea is an excellent alternative to water!  Drinking it
plain would be the best, ie  no calories.  However if you're drinking it hot,
adding a little honey to it wouldn't hurt.  Honey has antioxidants and is
actuall good for you!  But if you're buying bottle iced tea, unsweetened, or
lemon would be the best option!

so i grabbed sandwitch bags and put baby carrots and in another bag i put
roasted peanuts. and when we got to the movies, i only ordered a diet coke. they
were wonderful snacks and i didnt even have to think about the junk food.

i cathy, my name is Natalie. I'm very happy for you that you lost 10lbs, but in
my opinion you are not early near enough calories. you may lose it now but you
will hit a plateo. You should eat 5 small meals a day around 300 a meal can be
less, then gradually add more if you are working out your body needs to fuel it
self. good luck though.

hey natalie thank you for that. i will have to try it. i just read someone's
reply and said that it may not be hunger that it may be that i am thirsty. i
have tried the protein water and i dont know if it works at night time. but yes
i will try the apple or vegetable. i have also started walking. after i eat
breakfast lunch and at nighttime. and i have lost some pounds and i feel so much

money and all i learned was how and what to eat. I wasnt planning on being on a
diet but my daughter wanted to lose some weight and was going about it all wrong
so i told her i would do the sp-k with her and she quit in a week and i kept on
going lol. the highest weight i was ever was 174 and i had just gotten off drugs
so yes im in recovery and doing great! I only lost 20 ponds and $2000 on the
metabolic diet and now with this diet the inches are falling off like crazy .I
highly recommend joining a curves because it is funtastic! it is a hour and a
half workout in 30 minutes i went from 149 to 139 today and have never seen my
body look this good ever!!!! to the lady who has lost 30pds on this YOU ROCK

Hi Ashley, my name is Natalie. Lately I have been eating special k but I also
