Hi-
I joined last night. I had the lapband surgery and DID lose 75 pounds and was
exercising everyday, so happy. My family had serious problems and went off the
routine, it is a year and a half later and disgusted with myself and embarassed
to see the lap band doctor. I would like to loose the 75 lbs, that I had lost
plus at least another 100 pounds. I am 54, have a family, and six feet tall.
I went to the mall and went to the bathroom and my butt was following me.
That was two months ago and am trying to focus on me and not the family. What is
not helping is that my asthma has come back (went into shock...saw a baby in the
road and ran in slippers to save the baby,,, and as I was runnung a car turned
on the hill and the scream that I yelled..was probably heard all over,,thank
god.. the baby was not killed.. the woman, by some miracle stopped her car and
left since she just was very upset... the mom finally came out of a house to
find her 11 month old. I was red and had already called the police)
Becasue of the baby incident the next day I had to go to the emergency room
and was given treatments, Then 2 weeks later, after having followup with asthma
doctor ...I had stopped breathing and thank god the hospital was so close. I
went into the emergency room and did not even have to sign in,,, well they could
not find a wheelchair but clinged onto my husband and fell onto an empty bed in
the hall ... with nurses and doctors running with the oxygen, iv, did not know I
was red and double my size since i had not been breething. Well, after a while,
thank god I felt my lung moving...after a few hours they told me I would have to
be admitted to the hospital since it was to dangerous. Well, I am now really
scared to have a relapse of the not breething part. I only wish the neglectful
mother would pay my medical bills which is outrageous. I feel that I can not sue
her for the costs because the bottom line.. is she lives down the road and I
woujld not win since I am the FAt woman. But fat woman or not I was the same fat
woman last year and did not have asthma.
I used THe RED to lose the weight. It is a chair that is fabulous and even
the doctors said it was great ...it had strengthened my abs. My problem is that
I have to be 275 pounds to use it and I am 300+ now. I have tried some walking
but it does not work that well.
Today, I was excellent on my eating, Had egg whites for breakfast with
margerine on top (lap banders have to eat moist foods), no snack, lunch was
blueberries and plain yougurt. Dinner was turkey with gravy (skimmed from
yesterday ).. My evening snack was a 15 calories fudge bar,
Thanks for listening....I truly feel less upset
Laura
