Welcome to Southern California Friends, the social group for people with herpes! We have regularly scheduled social activities, trips and other events which provide the opportunity for socializing, making new friends, meeting others with herpes, and having fun in a supportive and relaxed atmosphere. Membership is open to everyone over the age of 18 years, though membership is not a requirement to attend our social activities.

Volunteers are always needed to assist with planning, organizing and promoting social events. It's a great way to meet others in your area. All regularly scheduled social events for LA Friends and Orange County Friends are also posted on the main social calendar at www.lahelp.org and are published in the LA Hope Newsletter. However, members are also encouraged to use this site for scheduling casual get togethers and other social activities. For instance, if you would like to find others in your area to attend an event, go hiking, bikeriding, meet for Happy Hour, dinner, movies, plays, visiting attractions, etc., please post a note. For anyone who would like to sponsor a social activity in Southern California, please post the event in the Calendar and include the name and E-Mail address of the contact person. We hope to see you at one of the social activities!
