Reflex Therapies are therapies in which specialized massage techniques are
used to stimulate the nerves of the feet and hands. These compressive
massage techniques have a healing effect upon the entire body. Nerve endings
embedded in the hands and feet connect all areas of the body through nerve
pathways or meridians. Stimulation of these nerve endings helps to promote
relaxation, stimulate vital organs and encourages the natural healing
processes of the body. In the class we will explore some of the most common
techniques used today.
