Seizures - what brings them on???   Message List

Hi all I had a question. My daughter will be three years this
month. She has never had a seizure. We are awaiting her gene
sequencing test for Sotos. She now appears to be Soto's like per Dr.
Schaffer seeing her latest pictures. What brings on the seizures??
Febrile illness?? When do they taper off or do they? Does every
child who has Sotos get them? Thanks Mini

... I get them when I have a fever. To me they are a really nasty part of the flu. IE... Fever, Chills, Body Aches and Seizures. kestieQuietly....

Hi Mini, My son is Sotos-like and has never had a seizure and he is 4. Not all kids/adults with Sotos have seizures...the handbook has seizures listed under...
