it's important for us to socialize with others, and it's really great that
we're all doing it for the same purpose here (this breaks down a barrier
which at first might cause problems, at least for me, and I think that
pertaining to the issues that some if not most of us face this is a great
head start). My screen name is samdirty30.
PS: While we're on the topic of self-improvement, I have a question. I
often times get paranoid, and have a hard time telling fact from fiction;
honest feedback is important to counteract this, as it helps me to determine
what is reality and what is coming from my own negative beliefs about
myself. I'm just wondering if others are getting my E-mails, and if I'm
actually providing anything useful here. I thought that by nobody
responding that perhaps people don't really feel that what I say is
important (which is their right and is fine with me if it is indeed true),
but it's entirely possible that some of the people on here are just too
"shy" to say anything. Please go ahead and speak up if this is true; I feel
a little weird writing this personal stuff in here, but I feel that it's the
only way that I can move forward with these issues, and that this group of
people is the perfect opportunity to do so. Also, if what I say is not
important to some of you (which, although it sounds bad, really isn't bad
but rather honest) please let me know as well. I haven't been on here very
long, and it doesn't seem like there's much conversation going on; if people
aren't writing because they are shy about it, I think that they should.
It's extremely difficult, sometimes maybe one of the most difficult things
in the world to do, but eventually for me it has become easier (it's still
hard, but I'm doing it) and will continue to do so as long as I keep working
at it (like a muscle gaining mass and strength after someone works out).
Please don't be strangers. Anyway, hope to hear from some of you soon.
Thanks in advance. :-)
