Although I have looked at my life in different ways, over the years,
trying to understand myself better. I never really considered
shyness until recently, yet it seems so obvious now. In my reading
I've started to look at the "other side" bullying behavior and feel
like I've invited that type of person into my life because of my
shyness. Has anyone else felt this way and what can be done about
it? In the past I've tried to avoid the person but that doesn't
always work especially in work situations. Any suggestions? Thanks

Yes, it's certainly tough to defend oneself against a bully, especially when one is shy to begin with. One strategy you could employ is to determine...
