Hi everyone, I hope you all don't mind me intruding here. I am a
freelance journalist and doing a story on shyness for the health
section of an Australian newspaper. I was wondering if anyone would
like to be interviewed - by email or phone and all names can be
changed if you like. I am especially interested in someone whose
shyness has had life-debilitating consequences and someone who has
overcome shyness. How they did it that kind of thing. I know this
is really difficult (talking about your shyness). How do I know?
Well my reason I chose writing as a career is because I used to be
extremely shy and found it easier to write than talk! I remember as
a little girl my parents would say "say hello to such and such" and I
simply could not. I desperately wanted to but the words would not
come out. I grew up missing out on a lot because I was so darn
scared what people would think of me. Anyway enough of my
raving...if anyone would like to participate it would be
wonderful...if not good luck everyone!
cheers
