I'm here. Recently I've noticed that I get great anxiety over
problems, like large unemployment in my area, or getting a whole
new set of colleages at work. I also notice that talking with other
people, either intimately with a therapist or more casually with
friends, helps a lot. BUT...I don't have a large circle of
friends, or at least most days I can't find anybody to talk to.
So I think that being shy leads to having a harder time with
things like work changes than most. Sigh.
