Re: [SocialFitnessForum] Shyness and teenagers

"Shyness:  A Bold New Approach" by Bernardo Carducci gives some suggestions for how parents can encourage their shy child to be more adventurous in a way that is supportive rather than critical or pressuring.

Subject: [SocialFitnessForum] Shyness and teenagers

I read a book by P.Zimbardo and discovered this group.  I am from a family of shy people.  I have been able to overcome my shyness a lot, and am feeling good about that.  I am wondering what I can do to help my teenage son who is very shy.  Any ideas?
Kathy
