Description

We are a small group of recovering alcoholics and addicts who are also gay. We use our email to share experience, strength and hope with each other, so we can get and stay sober. We don't offer professional addictions counseling nor are we a replacement for face to face meetings. We are like a daily vitamin taken in addition to eating a balanced diet. In many cases, there are no local outlets for gay alcoholics, in which event, we are a pretty good substitute, but we try to encourage finding a group in which you can become a comfortable participant. While many of us are members of AA, we are not associated or affiliated with, endorsed or approved by Alcoholics Anonymous World Services, Inc. and we aren't required to adhere to the restrictions or provisions AA must traditionally adhere to, however we usually try to confine the conversation to how our addictions have previously and continue to affect our lives, and what we do to maintain our sobriety.
