This list is intended for the purpose of soap makers of all levels to exchange ideas, recipes, problems and solutions of soap making. All ideas and input are welcome and appreciated no matter how big or small. It is a gentle list and we treat each other with respect.

When you apply for membership, you will see a section on the page asking for a comment about your interest in soapmaking. Please be sure to include this. We will not approve your membership without it. This is one of the steps we take in our effort to keep out spammers.

Please note that memberships will not be approved if all the conditions above have not been met.

Due to the number of members, this is list can be very busy. If that bothers you, SM101 may not be for you OR you may want to subscribe using the digest version.
