We are having an open house this Sunday, July 13, to showcase our farm, which is for sale. We will be open from 1 until 4, and all are welcome. We had several people email to say they wanted to come before but were unable to make it that day, so we decided another open house was in order. Private showings are available, too, just contact me or our realtor, Jen Anderson (a horse person, too), to make those arrangements. We’ve had several “drop-ins”, but because of our riding lesson schedule we can’t always accommodate people without an appointment. So, just call ahead if you want a private showing and we’ll make certain you have plenty of time to tour the property.
Below is a link to one site that shows many photos of the property, and if you look on that page above the text description, you will find another link to a realty site that shows many interior house pictures. When people tour, the comments invariably are that the house is a lot larger than expected, and bright and cheerful (it is!). It’s very difficult to take pictures that adequately show everything, so come and see in person. Don't forget, we are offering a private finder's fee of up to $10,000.00 to anyone referring a buyer who completes a sale. Details on request, but it's very simple and straight-forward.
In addition to the main farm property we have two gorgeous building lots that can be purchased separately (or as a package with the farm), so this is a property that has many options and possibilities.
Description: Digger is super broke, does all the fancy moves and rides like a cadillac. I started him on barrels as a 3 yr. old and run competively since he was 4. Big guy-16 hands and stout. He has been to big events so he knows the ropes. Sleeps, stalls, and eats. He is the easiest barrel horse I have ever taken on the road. If your ready to compete and need a horse--here he is! Winner of the 2D reserve champion as a 4 year old at the Big Bang Futurity in Minnesota. I have won 2-D, 3-D, 4-D money and he always seems to get a check. The video has 6 runs. First 2 runs are as 4 year old- Ardmore futurity and Tulsa Super show. Next 3 runs were as a 5 year old at Tulsa Super show, Lawrence-KS, and Sedalia-MO. (He was in the top of 2-D, half second-splits at Lawrence and Sedalia.) The last video was at 2008 Mo-State finals on June6, 1st go--he ran in the bottom of the 2D all weekend. Wasn't very
far off some really tough horses. He has unlimited potential. This is my only horse so he is pretty pampered. Absolutely no bad habits nor issues. He is a good partner if you want to barrel race competively.
I have a client that has a really nice finished barrel horse (rodeo caliber - 1/2D) health and sound, that they would consider trading for a 2/3 horse weekender package trailer - has to be in good condition, clear title and not too old. . . this would be a great deal for someone who has the trailer for sale already and are needing a horse.
Let me know what you have and I will see what can be worked out.
LOL, I found a very funny picture and wanna know your opinion. Do u think this
picture is funny? Check the funny picture here:

Brandi, yes, Silver Lining has an entire line of Canine products.
For the Shepherd #27 Liver and #24 Immune would be good choices to
start with. Jackie
you can use the same as you would on horses.

Description: ANOTHER UPDATE: Been hauling her to different places and she is hauling like a seasoned pro - went to an indoor and a hail storm hit, the mare was quiet, quiet, quiet. Starting to show this mare the barrels and WILLING, WILLING, WILLING and showing lots of promise! If you are looking for a NBHA/Funshow/trailriding horse deluxe - you just found her! Maddie is as nice and sweet as she can be, she is a pretty, pretty paint, she is chromed out with her high socks and big blaze- built stout and to last, personality plus - perfect for someone to love her!!!! She will love you back UNCONDITIONALLY. This mare was started later but is ready to go on with someone who wants to just go have fun and not spend a fortune, she is capable of going lots of directions. Nice size at 15 to 15.1 - beautiful mover, willing disposition and absolutely can't be loved enough that is for sure. Trailriding
deluxe and NBHA/Jackpot/Funshow caliber - she just does what you ask - no questions asked! This mare wants to work and be used. Been putting a wonderful foundation on her for someone to go on with - did I say this mare WANTS TO WORK. Maddie has been ridden in traffic, down lots of trails, hauled to town and she just acts like she has been doing it for years - she is one in a million. Healthy and sound - good feet, good minded and needs to find her "home for life". Let her raise your kids or give an adult pleasure for years. If you come try her you will be buying her. Price may increase as training progresses. She gets along well with other horses in the pasture. This mare is NICE all the way around! Both her parents were nice performance horses - Sire was a 1D horse from the very start unfortunately an early injury ended his running career but he is making babies in ND now for a private farm. Maddie's dam is a nice calf horse, was sold to a man who is
using her on his farm to work cattle and raise his grandkids - disposition definitely passes on in this family tree. Arenas available to take her to or just stay and plan on taking a nice trailride when you come. Don't wait too long to come try her, the person who makes the trip will take her home. Bonus - she carries a nice solid set of papers for babies later on. . .
Less than a day left on this auction - if you have horses/cattle or sheep you need to seriously look at this tree cutting attachment. You can check out a video at www.theperfecttreesaw.com - this auction of for a slightly used model.
If you own livestock - horses, cattle, sheep you don't want to miss out on buying a wonderful maintenance attachment to help keep those pastures clear. . .
My laminitis case – Grace –
has foundered after treatment with Worm Foe. Of course, I’m not trying to
say this was the definite reason, but I would like some opinions on it. There
could be so many reasons for it but since she hasn’t foundered for a long
time ever since arriving at my place I need to figure out the root of the
problem. Is it possible that horses, which already have had their fair share of
laminitis/founder history, are more vulnerable to founder from the black Walnut
in Worm Foe?
I am looking for a generator for my horse trailer - need 3000 to 3500 watts, preferrably gas not diesel but good working condition is most important. Thanks!
Hi,
I was referred to the Silver Lining Herbs site by a friend. I have a
mare with laminitis, and want to get the herb mix for that plus her
hair on her side (Right Side foot & right side of body) is not
shedding off properly, plus her coat on that side of her body is dull
and wiry. Weird.
I wondered if anyone could shed some light on this. I think it is
some kind of imbalance in her system. Her other side of body is nice
and sleek and shiny.
Does Silver Lining Herbs have anything that might help her with the
hair and dullness issues on the right side of her body.
Thanks.
Nancy
Wonderful horse farm for sale in Southern Maryland. Proven location for horse business, nice house, indoor arena, 19 stalls, etc. Below are links for complete explanations (can be purchased in several ways), as well as links for many additional photos. Please read on here for information about how you can earn up to $10,000.00 for referring buyers to us (that would buy a lot of hay!). Let's help each other! Thanks!
Finder’s Fee up to $10,000.00 offered if you bring us a buyer for our Wonderful Horse Farm and/or Building Lots for sale at:
3325 Allday
Road, Huntingtown, MD20639
As the owners of this beautiful property, we are offering a private finder’s fee to any non-real estate professional who refers a potential buyer that ultimately completes a full-price purchase on all, or part of the property. This is a way for non-real estate professionals to be rewarded for helping bring buyer and seller together. Professional Realtors get paid, too,
through the usual channels and commission schedules at closing should they bring a buyer. This private offer from the owners is simply an effort to broaden the information flow and reward those that assist in a sale. All it takes is some constructive conversation to qualified prospects.
The finder’s fees apply to settlement of full-price contracts. It is important to understand that your contacts need to identify you as the referring source before they first view the property in order for us to award the referral fees.
As the property can be purchased in several ways, please carefully review the details
below for each option.
Upon full-price settlement of the entire 15+ acre property (the farm and two additional building lots) to a single buyer, we will pay a finder’s fee of $10,000.00 to the referring party.
Should one buyer complete a full-price purchase of the eleven acre parcel only, the referring party will be paid a finder’s fee of $5,000.00
The finder’s fee for each settled full-price building lot sale will be
$1,500.00.
Again, the finder’s fees will be paid upon settlement of any full-price purchase transaction. Remember that the potential purchasers will need to identify you as the referring party before their first property showing in order for you to be considered the referring party.
Any questions about the offer of finder’s fees can be answered by the property owners. Call Karen Jones at: 410-535-5204.
All property-related questions should be directed to the listing agent:
Jennifer Anderson, of Exit 1 Stop Realty, at 410-257-2121, or cell: 301-758-0391.
Hi my name is Brandi and I live in Bartlesville, OK. I created this new Yahoo account in hopes to start receiving email from this group thinking that my other email account was to busy with all the other emails from horse groups that I have joined...
I have a 2 yr old MFT. And he's a job to be around, he's my very first horse. I've always wanted a horses ever since I was a little girl and through helping my friend Mary with her horses she has allowed me to buy one and keep it out at her house. She has 4 horses. 1 QH named Bubba Jo, 2 MFT - one is 4 and the other one is the same age as my horses 2. And a retired Sulky trotter Standardbred from California.
We just recently got into the herbal side of horses and we wanted to learn more.... and I myself have a question about a new feed mix that I've come across that I've been feeding my colt and he loves it. Wanted your opinions:
Thank you Michelle! We just recently got into herbal medicine for our horses. And we have plans to continue, our next step is too get some liver/kidney flush.. 4 out of our 5 horses have been sick and they've had to have all kinds of shots...
Thank you again, I look forward to reading more and learning from this group.
