Re: horse allergies

Sorry to hear of your Horse's condition. Prob. the change in Altitude
and Humidity is causing the major problems. Could also be the Feed.

The Combination of a change of location and change of feed is not good.

Is Kharisma on the same feed or Hay he was on previously?

Mucous is created in the stomach from Sugar. What happens is: The
Horse inhales a germ virus or allergy such as pollen or dust. The
stomach creates Mucous to try to flush out the germ thru the nose.

The point is: Mucous is a sugar so Horse should not have sweet feed.

Over time the Horse should adjust. I understand Apple Cider Vinegar
sprinkled on food is good. Echinnacea Herb is excellent for this.

I am not sure which formula of Silver Lining has Echinnacea also
called Purple Cone Flower. Echinnacea boosts the Immune System.

Rose-Hips; high in Vitamin C Ascorbate and Copper can also help. Anne.
