Hi!

Jackie, Kalen's mare's (Candy) colt has been sore off an on for about a
month. He has has a tremendous growth spurt in his front end as well.
Some days, he is sound, other days painful. When we walk him out, then
it seems to go away. He is sound at a trot. I heard that it could be
growing pains (though I can't find any information). The bones grow
faster than the ligaments and tendons and that is why he is sore.
Also, he dropped some weight. Not sure if that is normal, but he is
putting the weight back on again. Any suggestions?? I thought about
putting him on the Feet Relief, but I am not sure if that is really
what I need. We are also selling Candy, and buying a gelding. He
doesn't have any real needs at the time being, so I was wondering if
there is anything that you would recommend?

Thanks!

Vona
