What worked for me was to use
organic apple cider vinegar (the kind you buy in the grocery store is only "flavored" it isn't the real thing) in their grain. The love the stuff after a day or two getting used to it. Start small, about an ounce, then go to 2 ounces (I get it wholesale from the orchard, so what I have is full strength, what is the in health food store is watered down slightly, so you could go a little more). Once they get a taste for the vinegar they will eat just about anything you put in their grain without hesitation, they love it. It helps a little with the flies too, and it's a good tonic. It's rumored to prevent stones as well. I've gotten to where i couldn't live without it, use it topically for any sweet itch or other skin disorders, etc, with great results and for poultices too.

Thanks for the input, my horses are fine with the other mixes I have had
them on. The Training Mix, Liver, Joint Support. But the Herbal Wormer
was definitely a "hooves down" from them. They are not in stalls, but
will try and leave their feed pans out with them and see how they do.
