FOR SALE:  Nice 7 year old paint mare!  This mare is out of proven barrel racing bloodlines - they are old bloodlines but this mare has several siblings that have done super well in the arena - in WPRA, Open 4Ds and amateur rodeos.  These horses are not really ready to start asking anything of them until they are 7 or 8 years old so this mare is prime to go on with.  She was riding nice a year ago when I sold her - girl had to downsize and I got her back.  This mare needs a quiet hand and a kind natured person - I don't really care if I sell her or not so placement is crucial to her sale.  One of her sisters sold for $75,000 as a barrel horse in 2004.  These are nice horses but are not the "flavor of the week" bloodlines.   

 

Asking $5000 - healthy and sound, 15.2 hands tall, stout made mare, built to fly, good minded mare (I have a couple of stories with her to prove it), she has been turned out for about a year, when I was riding her she was bending, flexing, moving off your leg, retained everything I showed her - she is an athlete!  A good home is a MUST!!!   I just don't need her - have two finished horses in my barn and working full time that is all I need and have time for.  Really don't want to let her go but I have to be realistic with my time.
