Tying up Problem   Message List

I have a 9 year old mare that has a very serious problem with "tying
up". I didn't find out she had this problem until after I purchased
her. I have never experienced being around a horse that this has
happened to and it is awful for them. I have just recently tried
the "Tying up" herbs and am sure keeping my fingers crossed. Has
anyone encountered this with theri horse and if so were you able to
treat the horse? I did find the original owner and she said that the
mare had always had this problem and had numerous tests run and
couldn't figure out why it was happening. She did breed the mare and
there were NO tying up issues at all. Well I really don't want a
brood mare so I am hoping to find a cure for her. Any feedback
regarding this problem would be so very appreciated.
Warm Regards, Kat
