I'm home following surgery Tuesday! . . . Doing pretty well! He would have sent me home yesterday, but I was having a bit of nausea whenever I moved my head quickly.

Very excited about the report the doctor gave me. He said that there's a drug that targets this specific cancer, and that, when combined with radiation is very effective! He's going to talk to the doctor who supervised my radiation therapy.

The tumor was wrapped around the nerve that controls the facial muscles on one side. He carefully removed the tumor and left the nerve intact. It will take a while before we know if the muscle will start working again. I'm very hopeful! . . . He also did some surgery on my eye to lift the lower lid, reduce the upper lid a bit, and put a tiny weight in my upper eyelid so my eye can fully close.

He also said that, should it reoccur, he wouldn't hesitate to go in and get it out again!

I learned that he is a doctor who believes that God works through him . . . Just the doctor I'd been praying for!
