Description

For families of children ill as a result of silicone gel, or saline, breast implants. Health problems include rashes, allergies, swallowing, digestive and bladder problems, joint and muscle pain, skin disorders, Autistic-like behaviors, Scleroderma, Lupus and bone deformities.

It's important to know that a woman could not have known their child would be affected. There is NO SCIENTIFIC PROOF that breast implants cause health problems. Largely because have been NO DEFINITIVE STUDIES on silicone and children! Doctors are STILL telling women that breast implants will NOT harm their children and that it's safe to nurse with implants. Not all children are affected.

Certain HLA genetic types put a child at risk. Silicone gel can leak from implants and be passed to a child via nursing or placenta. Organisms growing in, or on, implants can be passed to a child - as well as with particles shed from implants. A recent study shows high levels of ionized platinum, a very potent neurotoxin, in offspring of implanted mothers. Platinum and tin are used as catalysts in breast implants.

We are looking for answers to the children's health problems. Some possibilities - Early, prolonged, treatment with antifungal medication; avoiding ALL products/foods containing silicone dioxide; observing a very healthy diet (organic, no sugar, no processed foods or no refined grains; possibly IV chelation therapy; ionic foot baths or FAR infrared sauna therapy.

We invite you to share what works, or doesn't work, for your children. This an extremely difficult issue for all parents! It takes very dedicated parents to get their children through this for the best possible outcome. Please share what you've learned with the other parents!

You'll receive a message with a link to help file a MedWatch report. Each complication can be filed as a separate report.

You'll also receive a link to www.birthdefects.org. Enter the type of breast implant at the end of the survey under "Other".
