In answer to your question about how easy it is to get a homebirth in Sheffield that very much depends where you live although admittedly the service is improving. My only worry is that the service will improve but only for women who are classed by health personnel as being 'low risk' and most of us know that the 'high risk' label isn't always (if ever) appropriate. But I intend to focus on this issue at the homebirth conference with workshops looking at supporting women who for example might want a home birth after caesarean.
