Thanks Michelle. I had a beautiful homebirth, thanks. 15 days later than scheduled & every home remedy known to womankind (including 5 sweeps!). He arrived so quickly in the end, there's no way I would have made it to hospital, so good job it was planned. As it was, my hubby was cutting up plastic sheets when I was almost fully dilated!
Little Rowan arrived before the second midwife made it from Jessops (with all the pain relief & resus equipment - so thankfully neither were needed!) & my midwife had to phone for a midwife from the Birley Health Centre to rush over when it was obvious his birth was very imminent! We were enjoying a cup of tea & some breakfast 30 minutes after he was born & my other 2 boys came home to see him a couple of hours later....wish it was like that for everyone....
I will be bringing Rowan with me to the conference. Looking forward to it.......
Samantha

Hi Samantha
I was just thinking about you the other day and thinking that you
must have had your baby now because if I remember rightly you were
due around Christmas. Many congratulations......I hope everything
went smoothly.
I'm at work at the moment but as soon as I get home I will email you
a booking form. Unfortunately there will be no creche facilities as
we just couldn't afford it and we thought with it being on a
Saturday that most people would have a partner/husband or family
member they could leave older children with. However, babes in arms
are more than welcome.
